Satna is a major city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It serves as the headquarters of Satna district. It is 6th most largest city and 8th most populous city of the state.
The city is 500 km east of the state capital Bhopal. The city is distributed over a land area of 111.9 square kilometres.
An ancient Thai proverb says that the king and the beggar are the same with respect to what they eat & best Thai food is found in the street food stalls of Bangkok, is a visual and sociological adventure, as well as culinary.

The food plays a key role in the daily life of Thais since many apartments have no kitchen, especially in the kitchen. That’s why people have become accustomed to eating in the street or buying food at these stalls and taking it home, due to the immense variety and extremely affordable prices.
This is ‘Chaska - The street food of Satna’ of the module - ‘Design for Print’. Satna district is part of the history of the region known as Baghelkhand, a very large portion of which was ruled by the treaty state of Rewa.
Satna district is surrounded by Rewa, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni and Panna districts of the state of Madhya Pradesh and Banda district of Uttar Pradesh state. Satna is in the limestone belts of India which has a subtropical humid climate.
